Arianna meets the Descendants

Chapter 3

Ben, Ari, Audrey and the adventure kids began taking the VK's on a tour around the school, sharing a bit of its history. 

"Yep. Auradon Prep, originally built over 300 years ago and converted into a high school by my father when he became king" Ben explained to the group. 

"And all the Disney heroes have been the happiest ever since all their kingdoms were reunited" Ann added while smiling proud. 

"Wow" Ari was impressed. "Mom, Dad and Aunt Elsa had told me stories about this, but I never thought I'd be knowing this much" the teen princess was impressed at how Auradon and its school came to be. 

The gang soon came up to see a statue of King Adam. Ben clapped his hands which made the statue morph into a beast. 

Carlos screamed in fear, jumping into Jay's arms much like the adventure kids' pal Scooby Doo would do with Shaggy. 

"Carlos, It's okay" Ben chuckled, explaining. "My father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man to remind us that anything is possible"

"Does he shed much?" Mal asked. 

"Yeah, Mom won't let him on the couch" Ben replied. 

The adventure kids chuckled, as the gang continued on with their tour. But Ari and the adventure kids then noticed Carlos seeming a little distant and quiet from the rest of the group. 

"Everything okay?" Ari came up and asked him. 

"Huh?" Carols looked surprised to see that a good guy was asking him if he was alright. 

"Oh, yeah, sure" the timid son of Cruella De-Vil replied quickly. 

But Ari and the adventure kids could tell that something was bugging him. 

"Come on, you can tell us" Ari told Carlos gently, showing him that he could trust them. 

"Well," Carlos started. "Before I came here I had to leave a friend of mine behind, Ciara. And, I miss her" Carlos looked a little sad. 

"Dr Facilier's daughter?" Kali and the rest of the adventure kids thought, knowing about the name Ciara, who was his oldest daughter. 

"Don't worry," Ari told Carlos, trying to cheer him up. "It's normal to miss your friends. I miss my friends and family back home too"

"I'm sure once Ben gets you guys settled here he'll think about sending more of the VKs over" Ari mentioned. 

The adventure kids looked silently shocked once Arianna had said that. "What is she thinking?" 

Carlos managed a small smile. Kali had known since Carlos was a boy he was very sensitive. You'd think from having your mother be a crazed woman who wanted to kill dalmatians to be made into a fur coat. 

Everyone soon came inside the school. Ari was impressed just how nice the school looked on the inside as it did on the outside. 

Kali sighed, smiling. "The place hasn't changed a bit" as she and the other adventure kids remembered when the school was first built. 

"So you guys have a lot of magic here in Auradon?" Mal asked Ben curiously. "Like wands and things like that?"

"Yeah, it exists of course," Ben replied. "But it's pretty much retired"

"Times have changed" Teeders mentioned. 

"Most of us here are just ordinary mortals" Ben added.

"Except for the ones who were born with magic, like Queen Elsa and Ari here" Ann mentioned, gesturing to the fire princess who blushed a little to that.
