Lina worked in her Granny's yarn shop, day after day untying knots in the wool. There was a time when it was neat but with Granny growing up and getting old, she had forgotten things and messes sprang up. At this moment however, in the year 241, Lina was resting upstairs in the flat with her baby sister Poppy.
"Poppy stop!" Lina cries out at her 2 year old sister. Poppy had been fiddling with Lina's hair whilst she worked away at piecing together 'the instructions' poppy had just found for Lina. Lina was unsure what to do with them. Just then, Doon Harrow, Lina's best friend since forever walks into their room.
"Hey Beana!" Doon had always called her Bean or Beana cause Lina rhymes with Beana plus, she was as skinny as a bean, but so were most Emberites.
"Hi Doon. Look what Poppy just found us, instructions," with as much enthusiasm as possible Lina informed him. He walks over to her and sits beside her.
"Great. Erm, I came to say...OMG Lina look! 'Exit'. If u put that there it says,"
"Instructions for Exit!" Lina happily finished. The pair looked at each other with a gleam in their eyes. They found an exit to Ember.
