Gunpoint

When I woke up, the clock read 5am exactly. I opened my eyes and scanned my room and Blaze wasn't there. Just when I began to wonder where he was, my phone went off. It was Jake. It said:
5693 Summerset Lane
B here in 10 mins to see

I Immediately got out of bed, no longer tired, and ran down the stairs. My dad's car keys were laying on the kitchen counter so I took them and ran outside in the pouring rain and got into the car.
I arrived at the address. It was an abandoned house with boarded up windows and Old paint chipping off of the walls.
I got out of the car and slammed the door shut. I could hear clatters and glass breaking from inside the garage so that's where I went. I kicked open the door and there he was. Blaze, my beautiful Blaze, tied up to a chair, his face battered and bruised with blood dripping down his mouth. I looked across the room and there was Jake, his half brother, aiming a gun right at his chest.
