Hikari: what is it, Hana?
Zero: *shoves Aidou forward*
Aidou: HEY! *brushes off shoulders* careful. This is a designer shirt!
Hikari: ....and? Is this about the whole Ichijo/Aidou thing?
Hanako: mmmhmm. *looks into shiki's eyes and narrows her eyes*
Hikari: *steps back* umm...
Hanako: *eyes turn white; puts hands up with palms facing Shiki*
*a surge of wind swirls around the room and Shiki fades away, replaced by Ichijo*
Hikari: *shocked but gets over it quickly* ok. This is seriously messed up.
Ichijo: *tries to smile innocently* sorry for leading you on, Hikari.
Hikari: *slaps him on the face and stalks away*
Ichijo: *rubs cheek and looks shocked*
Hanako: Hikari, wait! *follows her*
Hikari: *keeps walking*
Hanako: Hikari! Come on, wait up! *jogs after her*
Hikari: *just keeps walking*
Hanako: *grabs her shoulders* Hikari Akane! *sounds kind of annoyed*
Hikari: *shrugs her off* I get it!!!
Hanako: *exhales sharply* no you don't.
Hikari: ok. What?!
Hanako: ....no one's seen Shiki.
Hikari: ... *Looks at her and says quietly* ...what?
Hanako: *repeats herself* no one – not Aidou, not Ichijo, no one – has seen Senri Shiki since this whole thing started. Not once. Not even a message.
Hikari: *shocked*
Hanako: I can't even pick up a hint that he ever existed...
Hikari: .... *is silent*
Hanako: ...*says quietly* I'm sorry.
Hikari: *whispers* so...whats that mean?
Hanako: it means he's either sleeping for eternity, or... *doesn't finish and just looks at the ground*
Hikari: or... what? Dead?
Hanako: *nods solemnly; doesn't make eye contact*
Hikari: ...oh. *laughs dryly* I hope it's the former.
Hanako: *scoffs* if only. That would make finding him easier.
Hikari: ...right. *suddenly tears up and runs away*
Hanako: *stands there and watches her run away*
Hikari: *runs until she can't run anymore* *slumps into a tree and starts to cry*
*a little girl walks over to her*
Girl: why are you crying, lady?
Hikari: *looks up at her* *wipes eyes* no reason. I shouldn't be. *tries to smile but ends up in tears again*
Girl: *sweet smile* it's ok to cry, lady.
Hikari: *wipes eyes and takes a shaky breath* thanks.
Girl: *sweet smile* you're welcome. *literally disappears into thin air*
Hikari: *jumps up* wait, what was that...? *wipes her face on her shirt and starts to walk away from Hana's direction*
