It is hard rejecting your mate and still gets turned on every time she sways her hips, or when she passes you and her smell excites you, I was walking towards my second class and she walked passed totally ignoring me, her sent made me weak in the knees

I turned around to look at her and I almost fell on my knees to beg her to take me back, she wore brown shorts and a Wight tank top and let her hair lose so it was flowing, her skin glowing under the sun’s rays, her smile bright and happy her hair long and flowing, her soft lips talking,

I wanted nothing more than to have her in my arms right now, just hold her talk to her and kiss those amazingly soft lips, and caress her soft skin

"Silo!" I jumped out of my skin

"Are you ok?" I tried to catch my breath

"Shit man you fucking scared me" I told my best friend also soon to be beta Justin, he chuckled

"dude I been talking to you for the last 5 minutes but you were so busy looking at someone to notice me if I’m not mistake you found your ma-" I slap my had to his mouth before he could say it he looked at me shock at my action

"We talk after school" I said he nods giving me a confused look, when I let go of his mouth raised his eyebrows

"What a great welcome home greeting" he said sarcastically

"Welcome home buddy" I gave him men hug laughing

"What no kiss and a quickie?" he said batting his eye lashes and I laughed

"Man I missed you," I said grabbing the books I needed and walked with him to class

Yup that’s my best friend his not gay if anything, his a jokester all the time he play pranks and joke but when it comes to his beta duties his tough and serious, that is why his my best friend he knows how to calm an awkward situation with his jokes, and raise and army when needed

"So what did I miss?" he ask walking beside me winking at the ladies and saying hi, one thing that you got to know about him is that his a ladies’ man, he loves the ladies

"Nothing much man, same old shit" I said shrugging my shoulder

"Really I’m only gone for a week and I haven’t missed anything?" he said dramatically

"Oh wait! You did miss something," I said stopping, my eyes went wide he stopped and looked at me folding his hands together and smiling like a lunatic

"What I miss?" he said quietly and excitedly I slowly moved in closer to him and whispered

"Me" then I burst out laughing he looks at me with an annoyed look

"Man I thought it was something juicy" I stopped laughing after a minute and gave him a sad face

"You didn’t miss me?" I pretended to cry and he hugged me

"Oh man don’t cry! Of course I missed you!" I continue to sob

"How bout we go to your house tonight and I show you how much I miss you," he said seductively

I looked at him pretending to wipe my fake tear and nod he smiled then we both burst out laughing, we laughed so hard we fell on the floor pounding our fist to the ground

It took us a while to stop laughing but when we did we were catching our breath, we sat on the floor leaning against the lockers watching people pass us, they already know about how we joke around so no one really paid attention to us

"Man I really did miss you," I said after a while he just smile

"Ditto" we decided to skip English and go get something to eat and talk

We went to this small burger place a few blocks from school and we got our burger and fries, then we walked to the benches and ate

"I found my mate," I said after we devour our food

"Really? Who is she?" he asked his tone excited

"I made a huge mistake man" he looks at me with his serious face there was no sign of the joker

"What happened?" his tone was disappointed, I sighed

"I rejected her and mated another" he was quiet and I knew he was mad at me

"I did it out of anger man, I’m stupid I know but it was too soon I wasn’t ready to find her yet" I said frustrated

"Who is she?"

"My true mate is Kira, and I marked Taylor" I heard him sigh

"Man, why did you reject her? She fucking awesome, she’s beautiful, smart, and is a great Luna," he said disappointed

"I don’t know...but the messed up thing is I can’t seem to stay away from her, even though I marked Taylor I still have a strong connection to her"

"It's a true mate thing man, it will go away if you die or she dies," I growled at that

"Hey don’t growl at me I’m just stating the facts" I took a deep breath

"Sorry just my wolf is very over protective of her"

“Aren’t you too?" he asked

"Of course I am, when I heard that she was surrounded by rogues I almost had a heart attack"

"What happened?" he asked and I told him everything he looked shocked

"She fought off 3 rogues?" I nod

"Damn"

"Yeah and the weirdest thing she did" I said he looked at me

"She swore to protect the other rogue and now they are best friends!" I said slamming my hand on the table he looked at me shock written all over his face

"You messed up big time man," he said and I nod

"I know"

"She had a good reason to save the rogue" I looked at him

"And what reason is that?"

"I don’t know, but all I know is she had a reason to save him, and that is what a great Luna would do," he said sipping his soda

I looked at him wondering if what he said was right and the only way I could find out is to ask Amy

“Wait, how do you know all this things about her?” he just laughed and shook her head

“Try to be nice to her and you’ll find out” he said smiling

“You tried to sleep with my mate?” I asked getting mad and he just raised his hands

“That’s before I knew she was your mate, and also she changed my mind when I got to know her,” he said

“She’s a special girl man, and I’m telling you get to know her,” he said shaking his head

“She has a reason to save the rogue, I know it,” he said sounding so sure

"I hope your right," I said and he smiled

"Dude I’m always right" I just smiled and we talked about his trip.
