you say your favorite color is blue, but--
you are sunshine every day.
I know because you've said so
also you're lighting my horizonswe wore blue for lack of yellow dye
tied and dyed and washed out
i stained my hands with your huebut your color is yellow
ironically I dilate every time
with sunflowers and other thingsyou don't say much
but when you do it's bright out
and I don't miss the raintake off the shades that hide your soul
I want to see your
sunlight.
