oh sky, did you cry
when the walls began to fall?

oh river, do you shiver
at life's everlasting passing?

the earth crumbled with a rumble
while our eyes were on the skies

if this had been my home
could i not be left alone?

star beams are cold
with life gone old

their light only lasts
when seen in the past

i sense my life is passing
as i feel my world collapsing

so he takes me by the hand
shows me to a brighter land

as my feet leave the ground
i touch the sky's bounds

oh sky, did you cry
when the walls began to fall?

oh river, do you shiver
at life's everlasting passing?
