Lola's eyes opened as the plane wheels touched the ground, she tugged out her headphones stretched. The others flight had landed in the airport forty-five minutes ago but they had been nice enough to wait for the girl outside her gate.

When she stepped out of the doors she was immediately bombarded with vlog cameras and Zane obnoxiously shouting 'vlog squad family vacation'
Over and over again. Lola couldn't help but feel awkward, she knew she was only invited because David thought she was cute and she would be good clickbait for the vlogs. But nevertheless she plastered a large grin on her face and hugged everyone.

'So where are we even staying?'
Lola asked as they piled their suitcases in the trunks of the two vans they had rented.
'We rented out this condo right on the water, it's like a 30 min drive from here.'
David answered closing the trunk and walking over to the drivers side, Lola opened one of the backseat doors.
'Sit up front with me Lo!'
David called poking his head out the window, Lola shrugged and hopped in the passenger seat beside David.

The car with David, Todd, Corinna, Jason, Trisha and Lola arrived after the one with Zane, Heath, Mariah, Kristen, Scotty and Matt. So they got the last pick of the rooms, although the remaining three were still incredibly extravagant. Lola had assumed she would be sharing a room with Corinna but Toddy and Corinna had just gotten back together less then a week ago and were eager to 'tear one another to shreds.' As Corinna had put it, so she ended up sharing with David.

Lola and David entered their bedroom on the second floor of the condo. It had high vaulted ceilings and a beautiful ocean view. There was a small deck with two iron rod chairs and a small table with an ashtray. The bed was huge with white sheets and mounds of pillows. On the left bedside table was the customary falling apart bible that was always offered.

'I can take the couch if you want.'
David spoke, throwing his duffel bag down on the couch, Lola scoffed.

'You paid for most of this vacation, I'll take the couch.'
She fell back on the couch, her hair sprawling across the cushions. David couldn't help but admire the girls peaceful state

'Naw I'm not a douche,'
He started,
'Let's share.'

'I'm cool with that.'
She yawned,
'God I'm so tired.'

'Take a nap.'
He suggested sitting on the edge of the bed. Lola nodded, standing up and sluggishly walking over to the bed. She fell down on top of the covers and wrapped her arms around the pillow.

'Will you tuck me in?'
She mumbled through a yawn, David laughed.

'Of course.'
Lola rolled away so David could pull the blanket out from under her. He wrapped it around her before pushing the hair out of her face.
'Goodnight Lola.'
'Night David.'

When Lola woke up it was dark outside. She could hear the laughter of her friends through the open window and sluggishly made her way downstairs, pulling her bed head up into a messy bun. She opened the sliding glass door and stepped out into the muggy air.

'Lola!'
They all cheered as she emerged, eyes glazed with sleep.

'Sit down baby! Have a drink!'
Zane shouted, patting the spot beside him and raising his drink in the air. She grabbed a beer from the cooler, shaking off the water and sitting down in the empty space beside Zane.

'How was your nap?'
Zane asked bumping his shoulder against hers,

'Good, I feel rejuvenated and ready to get black out drunk.'
She raised her can clinking it against Zane's.
