"come on lucas" I heard gale say tapping my face then SMACK
"ow" I said "what was that for"
"I had to wake you up somehow" he said trying not to laugh
"I was waking up" I said my rib started hurting again I put my hand on it
"what’s wrong with your rib" he asked
"I laughed and it hurt like it usually does but it wouldn’t stop hurting" I said
"come on" he said "I’ll check it out" I got up and about half way down the hall my legs collapsed out from under me I ended up on my hands and knees liz and gale came over to help me up and half dragged me to the hospital bed "I think the collapse was just a side effect of the sleeping pills" he said "but I’ll have to do some tests on the rib" liz sat down in the chair next to me after about an hour of tests he stitched me back up and bandaged it "it might sting for a while if it starts hurting badly again and I’m out wait till I get back" he said
"did you get the ancestor computer" I asked
"yeah" she said holding up the hand held device and handed it to me
"thanks" I said typing in shelby’s full name age and date of birth there was a very long list and there was a strange looking marking on shelby’s picture and every second person down the list it went pretty far down till the marking stopped on a lady called Michaela I clicked on her it said she had gone to a special school that had both mortals and supernaturals and she had been in the supernatural part of the school listed under werewolf it even had a list of her friends darcy the devil’s daughter and jess a fallen angel there was a list on the side bar up the top it said key and showed a whole heap of different markings including the one on shelby’s picture I clicked on it and it said the full moon mark it means werewolf some werewolves have this marking as a tattoo "I thought so" I mumbled to myself
"what" asked liz
"do you know when the next full moon is" I asked
"yeah tonight" she said "why
"because I think Shelby is a werewolf" I said "can I get out of bed now"
"yeah I guess you can" said gale I got out of bed and went and got the phone and dialled jeremy’s number "hello" said Jeremy
"hey I think I know whats going on with Shelby" I said
"what" he said
"I think she might be a werewolf she comes from a long line of werewolves and its only every second generation" I said
"why wouldn’t she tell us" he said
"I don’t know but she’ll turn up" I said
"ok" he said "thanks for letting me know"
"that’s ok" I said
"ok bye" he said
"bye" I said hanging up then I remembered one of her ancestors friend and went over to liz "arnt you the granddaughter of the devil" I asked
"yeah" she said
"did your mum ever talk about her friends at school" I asked
"yeah" she said "micheala and jess the timid werewolf and swearing angel well fallen angel"
"yeah shelby’s related to micheala" I said
"really is she a werewolf" she asked
"yeah it skips a generation" I said
