His head jerked up as his blue eyes looking into my eyes. "You really love them." I smiled as he nodded. "I promise I'll do whatever it takes to keep her alive." he nodded and smiled.
"Coffee?" I asked holding out my hand and he took it. I pulled him Up off the floor. "Can I ask you something Dr. Malik?" "Call me Zayn." "Ok. Zayn can I ask you something?" I nodded. "Do you like me?" I froze. What do I say? I do like him but I I said that he might. Not like me. I mean who would? I'm only a doctor with 3 kids. Nothing special about me. "Yes.." I dragged it out. He smiled. Maybe he does like me I thought gaining my confidence back. "And what about you Niall?" "I like me pretty well." he smiled. I frowned. "But your pretty hot too." I chuckled. Then I my phone rang. "Hello?" "Daddy! I'm scared! Lou and Harry are scaring me and I can't get them to go to bed! Can you come home?" I heard my son Liam say through the phone. "Ok Li calm down. Deep breaths. Let me call Louis and I'll talk to both of them. L be home in 4 hours." "I could go watch them." I heard Niall say. "Really?" he nodded. "Liam my friend Mr. Horan is coming over in a few minutes ok? Be good for him." "I will daddy. I love you." "Love you too." then we hung up. "Ok thank you Niall. Li is pretty vulnerable. And Lou and Harry don't understand that he is more sensitive. Lou Kay afraid of lightning and Harry doesn't like scary movies. Harry acts just like Louis because Harry thinks Louis is the coolest person ever. Liam kinda gets left out, but he prefers to read a book. So you don't really have to worry about him. Except at night hell come sleep on your lap. Especially since I haven't been home when he falls asleep. And thank you so much for this Niall. I dot know how I could ever repay you." "Get my daughter to wake up." we're the last things he said before leaving.
