"Dear, God of Death"

As I sit here waiting for death to arrive,

To touch me with it's horrendous hands.

Where should I run? Should I run?

I do know that this time will come,

But who would have thought,

How fast-paced life can be.

Oh, God of Death, spare me, free me,

Please grant me this wish.

Let me live for awhile, bestow me this life.

I'am here and I won't run,

Just spare me from this death,

For the people I love the most,

Won't surely take the sudden bereavement well in their hearts.
