"Glacial"

As I look on the dark and wintry night,

I can't help but compare this to my heart,

How I longed to see a bit of warm light,

How I wish to the loneliness I part.

I desire the feelings I see they feel,

I want to feel the feelings left unshared,

To feel what other's feel, To love for real,

And I hope from this sadness I'll be spared.

To be free from this eternal sorrow,

And to find happiness is what I crave,

Oh, how I wish it would be tomorrow,

that I will abandon this glacial grave.

Oh, sadness, how I wish to desert you,

When that day comes I'll surely start anew.
