My head starts to spin and I realize something.

He cares.

I mean that's the only reason he came to me, right?

"Hey Dawn- what's that you're holding?" Zach asks walking towards me.

"Jason's back." I speak slowly as if trying to believe it myself.

"WHAT!?" He yells, "how do you know he's back? He can't be back. This is bad. Very Very bad-"

"Zach! Why is it so bad Jason's back?" I ask confused. Isn't he happy for me?

He sighs "Dawn, there's something you need to know about Jaso-"

Suddenly, the door swings open.

"HONEY, I'M HOME!" Jenna screeches.

I chuckle as she walks over to me
"and I have cookies, waffles, and green tea!"

I suck in my breath at the last one.

"-And normal tea" she finishes, smiling proudly.

Jenna starts to wheel me down the hall into Zach's bedroom.

"Wait! Dawn! I still have to tell you something about Ja-"

Jenna slams the door. "You can deal with him later."

I chuckle as we begin to eat the cookies.

Zach is still pounding on the door 10 minuets later.

"SHUT UP ALREADY WILL YOU!" I yell. Dang, he was annoying. How to get him out.......?

"We're talking about boobies!"

"If you think that will make me leave you are sadly mistaken. If anything it will make me-"

Suddenly the window in the room smashes, saving Horny from my wrath. For now.

"WHAT THE HELL!!" Me and Jenna scream at the same time as Zach breaks the door down.

I cautiously walk to the object.

It's a rock with a rose and a note attached.

I read it aloud

"Dawn,
Meet me at the spot when ever you're ready.
I'll be there
~J"

I remember our spot, by the pond.
Our first date was there.
And our first kiss.
And the place he gave me my first rose.

~Flash back~

"Are you ready" he whispers into my hair.

"Ready as I'll ever be" I giggle.

He uncovers my eyes and I see a picnic blanket, basket, and candles and roses all set up under the sunset.

"Jay, it's beautiful" I breathe, sitting on the blanket.

"I was hoping you'd like it" he says smiling shyly. "I also got you this" he says presenting me with the first of many roses.

This one just so happened to be blue. My favorite color.

It's perfect I say looking into Jason's eyes, leaning in and...

Suddenly the rose is ripped from my grasp.

Zach throws it I'm the floor and stomps on it, then reaches for the note and rips it in half.

I fall to my knees clutching the rose

He speaks "I need to tell you something abo-"

"Get out." I say slowly. Tears filling my eyes. He just stomped on something that means so Much to me that brought back memories of what happened before...

Zach starts to speak again
"But-"

"GET THE HELL OUT, BOTH OF YOU NOW!" I growl standing up and pointing.

They stand in shock before walking out of the door.

I fall to my knees again and try to Piece the rose back to get her but it doesn't seem to hold together.

Kind of like my life.
