AN:Hey, everybody.

Well today (September 10, 2010) 14 years ago my grandma "mumma" died from Cancer. I was only two at the time, but it still kills me. Knowing she isn't here to support me with my writing like my papa and mom are. Today is always a hard day for me and my family and with September 11th being tomorrow I figured this chapter would work out well.

In this chapter it shows how much someone will risk protecting someone they don't even know. For example; The NYC Firemen going into the Twin Towers on 09/11/01 knowing they'd most never make it out.

Or the people who were making their way out of the towers and heard someone crying out for help and went back into the danger to save someone they didn't know.

Or the passengers on flight united 93; when they took control of the plane. Knowing no one on board knew how to land it safely on the ground- knowing their life had been cut short because some psycho half way around the world decided The United States of America needed to suffer.

Or the lucky ordinary people who'd made it to safety and still rushed back into the flames of the pentagon to save their co-workers and strangers that were inside. Even when they were told it wasn't safe to do so. They didn't think about themselves at that moment... none of them did.

They just knew people needed saving and they couldn't let more innocent people die when they could help. They were ordinary people on a plane, at work, living ordinary lives- but they were what i think of as heroes. They will be remembered for what they've done. They did the unthinkable and because of that they saved lives.

This chapter is for my grandma and all the victims of the 09/11 terrorist attack.

Chapter 22: Knowing

Mark-

Isa scrambled behind me as humans- with guns- cornered us in the cabin.

"You little bitch!" A man yelled at Isa, I snarled at him.

"Shoot him," The man, smiled evilly and just as the man on the left of him raised the gun a lion and several wolves leapt into action. Ian grabbed my arm, on

instinct I growled then he said, "C'mon! You have to get her out of here!" I nodded and took Isa's hand, we'd just gotten to my car when a shot rang and Ian

fell. I pushed Isa down and ran towards the man who'd seemed to be the leader- the one that had ordered me shot. I shifted effortlessly and tackled him to

the ground.

I wrestled him for awhile as he used the gun to block me from his body. But he was weakening fast. Just when I'd caught his throat between my teeth- Isa

screamed.

Isa-

Once Tristan had killed the scientist I felt a wave of relief. Then someone grabbed me and I screamed. The shock and terror came out of nowhere- not to

mention the pain of his skin touching mine- not really pain but it was the feeling you get when someone rakes their nails down a chalkboard. Uncomfortable,

disgusting, sickening.

"Everything will be okay," He whispered, but I knew he was lying. I could hear it in his voice. "Just stay calm," he whispered into my ear. "I'm just going to wait

until I get my demands."

I felt my throat tighten as the man lifted a gun to my temple and cock the trigger. Tristan stood in wolf form in front of me. We both knew the inevitable- if he
