aurora: i just got off the phone with my mom. i could hardly hear her over the igniting fire and it felt as if the smoke clogged the phone. all i could make out from her words was "i love you so much aurora" and "i'll be visiting your daddy."
that was enough to fill me with emotion and sorrow. not for me, but for my mother. she didn't believe she was going to make it through this. she might see my dad once and for all.
my father passed away four years ago from esophageal cancer. that was the toughest moment i ever experienced in my life. his death was the reason for my depression, but i really don't want to go into that.
daddy hates seeing me upset.
