And now my writing takes over. :)

I'll put a little cue when you need to listen to a certain song that inspired a certain scene or part in the story.

Chapter 3

( Angels on the Moon- Thriving Ivory)

Harry's POV

Harry clenched his jaw holding a dead stare with the doctor. This can't be right. Louis doesn't have cancer, there must be some  mistake. Harry felt Louis tense next to him, willing him to keep his calm.

"That can't be right." Harry spoke more to himself than to the docotor.

"I know this is hard to accept but there are treatments that will help you," she put her hand on Louis's shoulder "you're lucky we caught it at the right time though." Removing her hand from Louis's shoulder she headed for the door opening it to leave. "I'll leave you two alone for a moment."

Harry turned to Louis, his eyes glazed over. "Lou." He walked around to stand in front of Lou. "Lou it'll be alright-"

"Harry I have cancer," Louis muttered cutting Harry off his face still chilled and calm.

"You can get better Lou, you heard what she said, you'll get better I know it Lou!" Harry tried to sound optimistic but he first had to convince himself everything would be ok before he could convince Louis. The room felt so small, tense like the idea of death had already set in.  Running a hand through his hair, Harry leaned down and pulled Louis into a hug rubbing his back. He needed Lou to relax, how would he deal with telling his mom, Eleanor, the fans, what about the boys? How would they cope with this. How would Louis continue his career. Harry's mouth felt dry as he pulled back Louis dropped his head, shoulders beginning to tremble. That was typical Louis when he cried, head dropped like a puppy that had just peed on the carpet, Harry couldn't help but feel bad.

"Boobear.." Harry leaned down and looked him in the eyes, tears threatening to spill over. Lou shook his head and wiped his eyes.

"Yeah I know I'll be fine Haz." He pushed a serious look on his face, but Harry could see the fear in his eyes. The fear and the pain of having to live with something to terrifying and life-changing.

A slight knock sounded at the door and Dr. Keenan walked in with some papers and pamphlets in her hands. Harry stepped back putting one hand in his pocket and kept a hand on Louis's shoulder so he wouldn't feel so alone. Turning to face the docto,r Harry propped himself up onto the exam table next to Louis. "I brought some pamphlets about your disease and some papers for treatments that will help you get better." Looking up from the papers she had the same straight face with lips pressed into a thin line. Harry didn't understand how she could be so collected and how she could put the courage together to tell someone that their life might end soon.

Grunting Louis looked directly at Dr. Keenan and in the best tone he could pull together he countered, "Can you tell me more about the kind of cancer I have, I don't want to read it out of a book." Dr. Keegan looking slightly taken aback by the harshness in his tone. Harry watched her through squinted eyes.

"Well Mr. Tomlinson, you have stage 2 acute Leukemia," Harry winced at the last word, Harry knew Leukemia was a cancer that attacked the blood cells and that was scary in itself, "which attacks the blood cells causing an over reproduction of blood cells. The blood-forming cells of acute leukemia remain in an immature state, so they reproduce and accumulate very rapidly. Therefore you need to be treated immediately, otherwise it may become fatal in a few months. So the sooner you begin therapies the better chance you have of surviving and the longer you wait the greater risk you are taking." She finished with a slight grunt looking quickly down and back up over her glasses at Louis.
