We were once in the darkness,

Coveted by the lies of this wicked system,

Bounded by the blindness,

Of fake truth and made-believe realms.

Shining gold palates and silver spoons,

Fame, glory and power,

He made us believed,

That with one’s greatness there is power.

Knowledge and wisdom,

Being bright with what this world has to offer,

Coveted titles,

Assuming that can make us happy.

We could have believed in one point of our lives,

We could have done everything to reach the heights,

We could have the world beneath us,

But we chose not to.

We realized,

Riches, fame and power – they don’t mean a thing,

Our lives would be worth living,

If it is lived with Jehovah in our hearts.
