Free verse: "Constellation"

A million stars up in the sky,

Twinkling, beaming, shining so bright,

They make each night perfect,

They make each eye glimmer.

Tears falling from somebody’s eyes,

Wishing deeply from the falling star,

Hoping the lost love could be found,

Praying the past love would feel the warmth.

Yet there’s no way to bring back the past,

Things that weren’t meant to last,

So today you must move on,

And throw thy feelings to the galaxy.

Beneath those myriads of star,

Someone is wishing for what you are,

Someone is searching for thy great love,

Wishing your feelings will fly like a dove.

If you will just give a chance,

Maybe then you’ll find thy connection,

Then you don’t have to do more corrections,

Your stars will come across building one great – constellation.
