xvii. Sneaking Out and Fighting Ex's Jas'mariee
I woke up with a wide smile on my face, as my alarm clock blared. I quickly got ready, throwing on some jeans and a cropped sweatshirt. I walked down to the kitchen saying a quick greeting to my parents and grabbing some pancakes that my mom had made.
"Good morning."
"Good morning." I mumbled back, stuffing pancakes in my mouth.
"Calm down hija, your food isn't going anywhere." My dad chuckled.
I sighed and leaned back. "Ayesha is picking me up early."
"Okay, but before you leave I need you to stay home tonight."
"What? Why?" I questioned, it was Friday night and I never stayed home on Friday nights.
"We're having a family dinner night. We haven't had one in a while." He smiled.
I sighed. "Fine. I'll be here. I have to go though, bye."
They said their bye's and I quickly walked out to Ayesha's car.

"You are not cancelling on me for Kyrie are you? I don't need another Ayesha." Hazel sighed, leaning against her locker.
Me and Hazel had planned on hanging out tonight but my dad had other plans for me.
Ayesha gasped and pouted. "I do not cancel-"
"God doesn't like liars Aye." Hazel smirked.
She rolled her eyes and opened her locker. "Why can't you go Jas?"
"My dad wants us to have some family dinner night." I sighed, rolling my eyes. "He's probably just going to tell me their going on another business trip."
Ayesha and Hazel chuckled. "Tough." They said simultaneously.
"Shut up." I smiled.
"Why did you and Kyrie leave the party early?"
"It wasn't to do the nasty right?"
"No!" I shushed. "Klay happened."
"What did he do this time?"
"He tried to make me give him a second chance. After that I just felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave. Then we kind of...kissed." I smiled.
Their eyes widened and so did their smiles. "Details sis! We need details!"
"Okay okay." I smiled, shrugging. "He just didn't believe that I had moved on from Klay so I just had to show him."
