Hello all! Sorry for not updating TYG for a while. Long story short, I've been really sick and in and out of hospital for the past couple of months. I wasn't able to focus on TYG (being sick kind of made me lose my motivation to write it). That being said, I did start working on a spinoff series for TYG in my downtime. I didn't intend for it to be serious at all; I honestly thought that writing it would help me get back into TYG.
But life doesn't always work that way, lol. For now I'm trying to focus on what's making me happy and what's not stressing me out--and that's TYG's spinoff, The Immortal Calls. It's up on Wattpad already, so feel free to check it out. It's non-compliant to the canon of TYG. Its magic system is different, and the history of things that happens will be slightly different as well. However, it does have some minor spoilers for TYG, so if you do decide to read it, please read at your own risk. Also, you actually don't need to read TYG to read the spinoff! It has a whole new cast of characters and it's set in a different country entirely, although traces of TYG can be found in places...
As for TYG, I do plan to update it as soon as I can integrate the new canon into it. I know what I have to change, but it might take me a couple of months until I can officially post it all onto Wattpad. Don't expect huge changes. The story will still remain mostly the same.
If you've been missing TYG, please get your fix from The Immortal Calls! I think it's super dope and I've been having a blast writing it. I hope that if you decide to read it, you'll find it just as cool as I do! :)
