I heard it all
The mere words that shattered my soul
If only I could turn back time
To avoid all of these issues
And escape the inevitable
How is it that we choose to be blind?
Do we always have to fall?
We have choices to go to
The path to redemption
Or the path to destruction
The exchange of anger
The bloodshed pours
The screams of the innocent
The spirit of the world
All vanquished by a single sword
Fighting with our hands
Kicking with our toes
Speaking lies with our tongues
Stomping our feet in frustration
Is this all we're living for?
Hurting ourselves with so much words?
Bashing everyone we can
Hating on those who are innocent
Let this be a reminder
Retaliation is not the answer
Give love to one another
Never go against your conscience
And protect all others
