In which a very confused amateur superhero teams up with her arrogant-annoyingly-intelligent-and-bitchy-but-in-a-good-way best friend, who - against aforementioned superhero's wishes - invites another annoyingly-intelligent-idealistic-and-too-optimistic male to join their team and together they have a lot of memorable-but-slightly-dangerous adventures in the not-so-halcyon streets of New York City.

(And if superhero Gwen doesn't get killed by chasing psychopaths in the dead of night or die of embarrassment from the unflattering pictures of her on the news, she wants it to be noted that she would very much like to attend an Ivy League college. But sadly, according to the newest picture of her face plastered on the front page of the New York Times, her chances of not dying are looking pretty slim.)
