As I'm taking notes in my boring science class, I suddenly hear "Psst! Kenzie! Psssst!"
I turn to see my best friend, Justin, signaling for me to sit in the empty seat next to him. I look back to the front of the room where my teacher is staring up at the boring movie we're supposed to be taking notes on. I quickly pick up my things and move to the back of the room.
"What's up?" I ask him.
"Me, Ryan, and Chaz are hanging out today. You wanna come with us?" he asks with a hopeful expression on his face.
"Yeah, sure." I whisper back. "You couldn't have just texted me that?"
Justin looks down at his desk. His cheeks turn red. "Well I wanted to give you this..." He hands me a purple bracelet. In white, it says 'Justin's Shawty'
I smile at him. "Justin! This is so sweet! Thank you!" This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me!
"Ms. Jenkins, Mr. Bieber, would you like to tell the class what you're talking about?" The teacher shouts. "Actually, Ms. Jenkins, please return to your assigned seat."
I sigh, and go back to my desk. Once the teacher is watching the movie again, I turn & smile at Justin. He winks back at me<3
