The stars shine so bright

I'm filled with delight

I gently squeeze her, an adorable baby sight

So gifted am I to have such a right

She is my little shining light.

I won't ever let any harm come to her, I'll go down with a fight

I'm hoping she will grow to be tall and bright

I'm wishing that she'll reach tremendous honors so height

I kiss her a very sweet good night

She is my little shining light.

I love her to pieces with all my might

She lights up my life like an angel's kite

And I mean all the well as I write

This letter to family, telling them the new sight

She is my little shining light.

I know she will be gentle and not bite

I know she will hand onto her loved ones so tight

I know she'll be kind, good and bright

I know she will shine with enormous height

She is my little shining light.

Hush up, my small angel.....

Rest well, my petite wonder.....

Sleep tight, my little shining
