Isaac storms in my room, picks up my backpack filled with clothes, tips it upside down, and shakes everything out of it.  I push myself up to a sitting position on my bed. When we got home, I locked myself in my room. I wanted to be in my own misery. Everyone had left me alone until now. Once everything is out of my backpack, Isaac tosses my backpack over his shoulder.

"What are you doing?" I gather all of my clothes back together. "Now, I'll have to fold all of them again."

"Get your shoes on." Isaac crosses his arms over his chest. "You should probably grab a jacket, too."

   "Wha-"

Isaac cracks a smile. "We're staying. And, the game has already started and I'm sure Scott needs my help so hurry up."

The lacrosse game is in the second quarter by the time we arrive to the school. The bleachers are filled with teenagers and parents, all bundled up to stay warm in the slightly chilly weather. As soon as we arrived, Isaac ditched me to change into his uniform. I was hoping to sneak on the bench next to Stiles, except he's on the field. He told me that he never gets to play. Coach must have had a change of heart or something.

I walk behind the benches, smiling when I see Scott. He seemed geniunely upset when we were saying goodbye earlier. I even saw tears in his eyes. I pass by him and look for a spot to sit. Unfortunately,  I don't have any friends from school besides Scott and Stiles. Who the heck am I supposed to sit with?

Mrs. McCall is up in the bleachers with Mr. Stilinski on her right side. Maybe they won't mind if I sit with them. I step up the bleachers towards where they are sitting.

"Chloe." Mr. Stilinski spots me first.

"Hi, Mr. Stilinski." I sheepishly smile. "Do you mind if I sit with you guys? I don't really know anyone else."

Mrs. McCall slides closer to him to create room for me. I sit down by her, burying my cold hands in my pockets. Right now, everything is up to Scott and Isaac. I can't even go out on the field. This is in their hands. Speaking of which, Isaac plops down on the bench by Scott. I block out the rest of the noise and voices around me to hear them.

"You came to help." Scott says with a touch of surprise and relief in his voice.

   "I came to win."

Scott whirls around on the bench, eyes scanning the bleachers. His eyes stop wandering when they land on me, not his mom or Mr. Stilinski, but me. Scott breaks out in a huge smile. My cheeks warm up as I lift my hand up in a wave. Scott's smile is contagious as my own lips spread out.

"He looks happy." Mrs. McCall randomly says, noticing the interaction between the two of us.

I break the eye contact Scott and I were sharing to focus on his mom. "It's a good look for him."

Mrs. McCall drops her voice to almost a whisper. "So, what are you?"

"Pardon?" I frown at her odd question.

   "Are you a werewolf?"

Realisation hits me and I shake my head. "Not exactly. I'm more like a hybrid. You've seen how Scott can transform, like his face and he gets claws? That doesn't happen to me. I guess you could say I just have the cool features of being a werewolf."

Mrs. McCall takes in all of the information. She nods to Isaac out on the field. "And, your brother?"

"Werewolf." I tell her. "I know you aren't talking to Scott because of everything that happened, but he didn't tell you because he was trying to keep you out of this world. Nothing about it is easy. Scott was trying to do what was best for you. All of it probably scares the crap out of you and I get that because I was shoved head first into it, but Scott needs you to be okay with all of this. You're his mom and your opinion will really effect everything he does. He's just trying to do the right thing. Believe me when I saw that he is doing an amazing job."
