Chapter 21 "Hurt" (Short Chapter)

Jungkook POV

All this time I knew that something was wrong with y/n, she did not look okay at all.

And all the water spilt on her did not look like she accidentally spilt it on herself but instead it was done deliberately by either her..

or someone else..

I didn't like to see my old childhood friend like that, it hurt me alot.

I decided to go over to her house, but just then, Yeonmi stopped me.

"Jagi~ should we go on a date today?" She sweetly said.

".. Sorry Yeonmi, I actually have to meet up with a friend.."
"...Why don't you have time for me, Kookie?" She pouted.

I then pecked her lips hoping that she would forgive me.

Her cheeks then turned red.

"I'll go on a date with you when I'm free, okay Yeonmi?"

She nodded and pecked me back.

Sometimes I wonder,

Do I even love her?

I went out of the house headed over to Y/n's place.

Once I reached there, I knocked on the door.

Y/n's mother slowly opened the door and she smiled at me.

"You must be y/n's study partner, I don't remember her having a session with you today.."

I smiled back at her.

"It's okay, I actually came to visit. Is y/n here?"
"Actually yes she's in her room now."

She kindly let me in and I slowly walked upstairs.

I knocked on the door. "Y/n?"

No answer.
"Y/n? Hello? It's me, Jungkook!"

"Y/n?"

"Umm noona.."

"Hello??"

I then got impatient and went in myself.

I saw y/n, sleeping on her bed, with the covers over her and earplugs plugged on to her ears.

I smiled.

When was she this beauti--

Wait Jungkook, you're taken, stop it.

I went over and sat on her bed and poked her cheek, in attempt to wake her up.

I immediately let go of her face, feeling that my finger was wet.

Was she..

Crying?

I pulled out the plug from her ear and put it into mine.

"I NEED YOU" Was playing.

Was she emotionally moved by the song?

I then bent down to her face level, where I saw tears slowly streaming down her face.

I slowly used my finger to caress her face, wiping her tears away.

I smiled at her beauty.

She then unexpectingly opened her eyes, staring into mine.

I did not realise that my finger had slipped to her lips.

"AHHHHHH--" she yelled, but I used my hand to shut her up.

Her eyes were glistened with tears and I let go of her mouth.

"I-I'm sorry." I uttered.

"W..what are you doing here?!" She snapped.

"I wanted to ask you something.."
"W-What?"
"Is there something wrong? You were crying.."

"No, nothing is wrong."

I sighed and reluctantly said, "Is it about Yeonmi and I?"

"N-no.."

I grabbed her shoulders.

"Y/n, do you like me?"
