Brighton skipped home, ran inside and then up to her room. She couldn't stop smiling. Sam got on his bike and started riding to his track meet, still smiling. He arrived at his meet and saw that it was canceled, "Are you serious?"
He said getting back on his bike and riding back home. Brighton saw him ride by, and ran outside and to him, "What happened to your meet?" She said looking at him. He looked at her, "It was canceled." He said still looking at Brighton. "I'm sorry." She said looking down. Sam smiled. "Don't be sorry. It's a good thing. Now I can hang out with you." He said smiling at her. She looked up at him and smiled, hugging him.
