The second day of school and everything was slow, people, the teachers, the clock, especially the clock. It felt like it should be 2:30 but, it was 10:28. Lillian Smith rested her head on her hands as she looks at her science teacher Mr. Green was talking. For being over 30 years old, Mr. Green was a very short man. Lilian's purple eyes look over to her left, her friend Quinn was sneakily snacking on fruit snacks. To her left Evelyn was somewhat paying attention to Mr. Green.
"And that is why is why .01 percent of all earths water is held inside the soil." Mr. Green finished, turning to look at his class.
Frowning, he looks at his class. Walking over to his desk he takes out a stack of papers, heading to each student he hands them each a piece of paper.
"Since your all so interested in the soil, I think tomorrow's assignment should be done today." Mr. Green says, the class responded with a groan.
"I want each of you to go outside and find me these different types of soil in our school area. You may have groups of three. Bring the soil samples back to me. Be back in twenty minutes with all types of soils. And to add a twist." Mr. Green said, heading over to his desk once more. "I'll reward you with a candy bar of your choice for tomorrow."
"Come on! Let's get out!" Lilian says cheerfully.
Once getting outside, she stretches her arms.
"Ok, where should we look first?" Asked Quinn, looking down at the paper.
"How about we don't look for the soils? May~be.." Evelyn says, stretching out her last word looking around. "We should go back there." Pointing out past the parking lot.
"Fine Let's Go over there, but we have to look for the dirt. At least get one dirt sample." Lilian says laughing.
"Oh come on Evelyn, don't you want some free candy?" Teased Quinn, as she looks at the sheet walking with them over to the parking lot.
"What I want is no school." Evelyn says.
Going though the parking lot, the three start heading towards the back. A black van is parked at the end of the parking lot. Eyeing it as she passes, Lilian couldn't help but feel something is off with that van. There was no one in the front seat, but she couldn't help but feel watched.
"You know, how about we go away from here." Lilian says, her eyes staring at the van.
"Hmm? Why's that?" Quinn asked.
Turning around, Lilian is joined by Quinn and Evelyn. A look of concern crossed Lilian's face.
"Don't you ever get a strange feeling your being watched?" Lilian says.

School was finally over for Zach. Zach takes a whiff of his inhaler. He yawned as he headed towards his home. He lived in a house near the closest town. Ever since moving to the Rocky Mountains 3 years ago, Zach still isn't used to this climate. Ever since moving away from his old home, he never felt the same feeling like he did in the Amazon Jungle.
After watching 1/2 of a mile, he looks around to make sure no one sees him. Transforming into his Ocelot form, Zach runs into the forest. A grumble from his stomach alerted him that he was hungry. Slowing down to a walk, Zach carefully listens for food. The sound of flapping wings made Zach look to his right. Creeping now, Zach carefully approaches the sound. Nearing the edge of a clearing, on a fallen down dead tree, an eagle has landed. Licking his lips, Zach was hungry. Waiting, he watched the eagle waiting for the perfect moment.
Then quick as lighting he runs straight at his prey. The eagle didn't have time to react, for that Zach knew and his dinner was so close. Then something let out a yip and rams into Zach.
Letting out a squawk of surprise, the eagle quickly flies away.
Shaking his head, Zach sits up and looks at a fox with green eyes. Glaring he didn't expect the fox to speak.
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! Thinking stupid cats can just eat an EAGLE?! Go back to the stinking jungle!!"
Shocked, all Zach could do was stare. His mind was running in circles. This was no regular fox. Only wereanimals could talk to each other in their animal form. And from the tone of the fox's voice, this was a female fox. Not yet grown up, but not a little fox pup.
Huffing, the female fox roles her eyes and starts to walk away.
"H-Hey! Wait!" Zach called getting up, stopping the fox in her tracks.
The female fox just took off running, not knowing what else to do, Zach followed. Mud splatter on Zach's fur, as he chases down the fox. It's been only two days, and he and has group found two other wereanimals. TWO. It's rare just for one to show up, but another?!
The fox didn't stop running, jumping over locks, winding around obstacles.
This was almost like the first time Zach met Jax 3 years ago. Only he was the one running.
