"I can't live forever like you, Elsa...."

"I don't want to be captive the rest of my life..."

"Come find me when you're free."

"Arnold Aston was the one who designed the tests specifically for her. Landon just wanted to see the tests for himself since there was no footage when she was doing only two of the fifteen of them before leaving..."

"Fifteen tests..."

"Only two completed..."

"I saved your life!"

I feel someone grab my arms, shaking me in the pitch black as the voices of all the different people echo in the dark.

"You're good at killing..."

"You've killed many people for a little more than a year..."

"ERIK!!!"

I bolt upright, breathing heavily. My eyes adjust quickly to the dim light, the full moon streaking in through the windows and gaps in the wood. I see Logan crouched down right in front of me. I swallow a couple times, catching my breath.

I throw the blanket off of me and stand up quickly. I grab a wooden pillar, lean against it, and look down.

"What the hell were you dreaming about?" Logan says.

"Nothing." I answer.

"No, it was obviously something." He says, and walks around to face me. "There were sparks of electricity all around you." He pauses. "What are you?"

"Not exactly a mutant. That's what I am."

"What?"

"My original mutation was running fast-that's how I wasn't out of breath."

"Original mutation?" He repeats.

"I told you, there's a reason I don't smile." I look him in the eye and then move away a second louder.

"You mean you were...?"

"Experimented on, yes." I pause. "It's all because of Arnold Aston, the doctor who experimented on me, killed my parents, and ruined my life."

"Arnold Aston...he died in 1963, how-?" He stops short. "Oh my God...you're-"

"I'm immortal like you." I turn to face him him. "I can run fast, control electricity, change my hair and clothing, and I have giant white wings. So yes, Logan, I'm a freak! An experiment!" I pause for a second.

"Ever since I escaped from Aston, people have hunted me down. The only people who ever did help me was Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr. A telepath and a guy who can move metal. Mutants. Then I left Charles and went around the world with Erik until we found Aston, and killed him. For a little over a year after ending Aston, we went around the world killing people." A few tears start brimming my eyes.

"Then, of course, the son-of-a-bitch betrayed me, handed me over to General Landon, who tortured me. After I escaped from him, he sent men to hunt me down which put me in a coma for over 40 years. When I woke up, Stryker was there and said he kept the government from pulling the plug when I was in a coma. Then I was pulled into the team where I met you, and six years after leaving the team, I'm sucked again into this!" I pause again, and a tear streaks down my cheek.

"You wanted to know what I was, this is what I am; a killer, a murderer, a freak, an experiment, and a girl who will look 19 for the rest of her god-damn life. Happy now?" I turn away again and blink away any tears threatening to leak out of my eyes.

"Look, kid, I'm so-"

"Don't say it." I interrupt. "I don't need sympathy. Not now." I pause. "Not ever."

"Elsa...that's your name, right?"

"Yeah."

"What's your full name?"

"My full name?" I turn back towards him and give him a questioning look. "Elsa Annabeth Andromeda Williams. What kind of a question is that?"

Logan hesitates before he answers.

"Nothing. Just wondering. The name sounds familiar, that's all."

I narrow my eyes.

He's lying.

It's not nothing.
