By the end of the third quarter, Tom and I were officially dating again. I know, I didn’t listen to Casey, and maybe I was being a little risky, but you have to take chances. That’s what life is all about, taking chances. That’s when my mom and I had a large discussion.
“Baby, I just got a job transfer.”
“Oh cool, to where?”
“New York.”
“Please Mom, no!”
“Daisy, we have to, I have no choice!”
“But Mom, my friends… and Tom!”
“I’m sorry Daisy but we don’t have a choice. We have to, or else I won’t have a job.”
“Please Mom…”
“No Daisy, We’re moving to New York, that’s final.
The next day I went to school and I told my friends, texted Heidi, and then told Tom. I was really scared to tell him and had no clue what he was going to say.
