The very next day, right after I get home from school, I got a text from Tom. “Daisy, I need to tell you something.” I was all done with my homework so I was on my bed listening to music. “I don’t think this is working out, we’re over.” That’s it?! I was so mad that right then and there, I made the biggest mistake of my life. “I don’t ever wanna talk to you ever again Tom! You broke my heart!” And that was the last words I ever said to him.
Later that evening my mother found me crying in the bathroom. She told me that a real guy doesn’t break up with you after the first day. I called my friends and told them too. Heidi told me “There’s other fish in the sea babe, everything is gunna be alright.” And so did Kourtney. Kourtney really brought my spirits up the whole entire time.
