Chapter Two
Second quarter just ended and I got the worst message in the world. Heidi’s moving… to Colorado. Oh my gosh I’m going to miss her so much. As soon as I heard the news I started crying. I cried so hard that I couldn’t stop until my mom got me ice-cream. Yeah, I know, I’m a loser that I had to have ice-cream make me stop crying. But it worked.
By the end of second quarter I also started to stop believing in what Heidi said that day, “There are other fish in the sea hun…” Tom hadn’t said a word to me since the whole dilemma last year. But I know that Heidi spoke A LOT about me in front of Tom. It was kind of funny if you think about it. I also didn’t have a boyfriend yet. I really started to not believe that statement anymore.
