I woke up in my nest with Swift, Midnight, Leaf and Thunder surrounding me. My mentor, my sister my mother and my father.
"What happened?" I asked them. All I could remember last was falling off the hawk and landing on the cold mountain ground.
"You'll be fine" Leaf mewed "but you left foreleg is broken." Then I looked at my leg. It was wrapped up in herbs and there was a stick that was wrapped up in it.
"So I want be able to become a full guardian or continue my training?" I asked looking at Leaf and then at Swift.
"No" Swift responded quietly "And we've talk with Star and that will count as your first try" I widened my eyes
"Midnight's too?"
"Yes" Leaf took a deep breath "both of you will stay apprentices until your ready for your second try." If an apprentice reaches 15 moons they have three tries to become a full guardian or full healer. If they do not succeed on any of the three tries then they stay an apprentice until it's time for them to retire. Please let me succeed!
