Heavy...

Breaths....

Sirens....

Yelling....

Darkness ...

I woke up to the sound of the heart monitor beeping. I pressed the nurse button on the remote next to me. Not a minute passed until the nurse came in. She asked in a friendly voice "Are you okay sweetie?" I replied very weakly "Ya." I tried to get up but when I moved everything burned. I screamed in pain. The nurse put me down. "I don't want you to move until the doctor says it is okay." A man in a white lab coat walked in. "Ahh, Dawn Evenston I may assume." I nodded. He continued "So here's the deal you, you've suffered 2nd degree burns and some 3rd degree burns to your back. Also smoke inhalation. You almost died Mrs. Evenston." How did I get out?" I ask curiously "Mr. Tennant was lucky to be there. He saved your life" The doctor started to back out of the room but then he continued to speak "Oh, which reminds me he asked me to give this to you." The doctor handed me a folded up piece of lined paper. After the doctor and the nurse left the room I opened the poorly folded note it read:

CALL ME

226-473-2941

I closed the note and thought to myself. Why would he have any interest in me? Confused and in pain I went to sleep.

THAT IS NOT DAVID TENNANT'S NUMBER!
