Thoughts Are Fickle Things ~ A Drabble Book

This Time That I Had

I am a ridiculous person,

A concordance of passion, opinion and thought

And there are a number of battles

That I have won, lost and fought.

And I do ridiculous things,

I buy expensive books and such,

I fall in love too easily,

Get hurt too much.

But if the world were to collapse,

All around my shoulders,

And I left to seek a Great Perhaps,

There is nothing I regret.

So in my short time on earth,

Which I have really enjoyed,

I think I fell in love with you,

Which was impossible to avoid.

Alright, so I am definitely not a poem person. I kind of thought of this at 2 in the morning a few nights ago. This is probably one of my first poems, so I hope you like it! And constructive criticism is always welcome.
