When the storms rage,
And nothing makes sense,
When He is silent and feels distant,
Hold thy ground, for the joy thou seeks, is not a far off.
When some friends are gone
And others turned foes,
When even you family cannot help,
And you have nothing to hold on to,
Cling to Him, He is all you need,
And the peace thou longs for draws ever nearer!
When the ground beneath turns steep,
And all that you considered security is taken away,
When the winds turn violent
Take courage and fret not,
For he is ever so near,
And the dawn approaches.
When darkness grows thicker, And worry creeps in,
When frustrations mount,
And the pain seems endless,
Praise His holy Name,
For in the fullness of time,
The beauty within will come to the surface.
And when you can't take it any more,
Cry at His feet,
For He is the healer of your heart,
The restorer of your soul.
And remember, its never hopeless for those who be in Christ.
