Imagine Jefferson and Grace, his daughter, trying to convince you as an April Fools joke that they had to go back to the Enchanted Forest, but Jefferson not being able to keep a straight face when he sees your reaction.
"What's so funny?" you demanded, on the brink of tears.
Jefferson shook his head, still chuckling. "It was a joke, (y/n). I'm sorry."
He glanced down at Grace, obviously trying to contain his laughter so as not to make you angry, Grace with a huge grin on her face.
You slapped his arm while trying to hide your smile. "So making me believe you guys are leaving is a good joke to you?!"
A smile remained on his face. "Wasn't it?"
You finally let out a laugh and shook your head. "Shut up, you jerk."
