Stretching and straining
grey alloy wheels rolled
scaring
pretty, fresh linen
was it a
curtained gowned troll?
oops
arghh
this was not to be told!
"Wake up, wakeup
Time to dance, frolic and sing"
sometimes they crooned left
sometimes they snooped right
leftright left rightleft right leftleft rightleftright
they peeked
sneaking, listening, arguing, mumbling
"we're just hanging"
New faces
were brightening
the pristine
tube white light
luggage quickly got arranged
thank-god, nothing happened
more than a fight
clickclacketyclackclickclacketyclack
world rocked
on this manned track
Glossed panes
suddenly s h u d d e r e d
what was the fright?
each silver kin
shook
choochoo! choochoo!
look!
another world had neared in sight.
Tiffin tired
treatymeaty meals
then opened
appetizing
the
coffin visited tales
which were being re-re-re-re-re...told
none were spared
when
sassy nonsensical jokes popped
unleashing giggles
beyond control
what more could have this journey wished to behold?
This miniature universe
rocked on
zooming to destination
burping all along the way
its
sparky holiday anticipation.
