" Myra it's nice to see you , I haven't seen you in so long . You look better than ever before , I mean damn your beyond beautiful " this tall dark-skinned thuggish 20 year old looking boy with an Afro , black gym shorts , Oreo 5's and a white shirt on said to me .
I didn't even crack a smile , I'm not easy to get by . I just got here and niggas already wanting me , like honestly can I sit down and enjoy my IHOP breakfast without some random buster trying to spit game at me . How does he even know my name ?
" What do you mean you haven't seen me in so long , Boy do I even know you " I rolled my eyes in disgust .
" you don't remember me " he put on this big smile .
" ohh shit , Darryll ?" I started blushing and laughing .
"Yes you gone show me some love , it's been years you know I miss you". He said reaching out for a hug.
I stood up and hugged him .
Darryll was my Bestfriendd in the 8th grade , I was dating someone else but I had the biggest crush on him low key . We talked everyday , we flirted with each other from time to time but I was in love with someone else , and I honestly didn't think Darryll had any feelings for me at all . We was close , the best friendship ever and then I broke down , started smoking , selling drugs . I ran away to Compton . I haven't seen him since highschool graduation so standing here looking at him was all a shock to me .
" Thank you , you don't look bad yourself " I said
" It was nice seeing you here , you moved here or you just visiting " he asked cheesing slightly .
" I moved here , things got hectic in Compton , I'd rather be in my hometown with my family " I answered back
" We should hang out like the old times , we could go to my a apartment " he suggested .
" sounds legit . " I agreed .
I left a 50 on the table and walked out . Money isn't an issue , so I didn't really mind .
He looked at me crazy . " okay okay baller , I see you " . I smiled , he so goofy . We hopped in his car and was on our way to his apartment .
