chapter five

John's pov

I wake up with sunlight hitting my face it was clear that today is sunny i get up then i remembered what mom said last night omg Mackenzie is going to stay with us for a whole month.

After i got ready i went downstairs
My mom and lauren were up "morning" i said

"Morning honey" mom said "come eat your pancakes before i do" lauren threatend

I quickly grabbed my plate with pancakes and started eating she just chuckled

                    《after school 》

I was sitting on my bed scrolling through my phone i feel so lonely since annie and hayden started dating
I am either alone or third wheeling with them or with carson and byrnn

The bell rang interrupting my thoughts when i walked down i heard "lauren shouting i am so excited" oh i totally forgot that mackenzie is staying with us

I entered the living room "hey Johnnyboy" Mackenzie greeted well she's going to be staying with us so no need to be rude "hi" i said as i forced a smile "you don't have to reply i got used to it" she said  "c'mon i'll help you unpack" lauren said

They both went upstairs to lauren 's 
I went back to my room i changed into sports  clothes and went for a run

After two hours i went back home
Mom wasn't home and of course laur and mackenzie were in her room well i should go take a shower

Lauren bragged in my room i was on my phone "never heard of knocking"
I told her "well i always go into your room without knocking "  she replied

"So me and mackenzie were thinking about having a movies night" she explained smiling "so" i said not interested "wanna join" she asked

I just started thinking i should expect instead of being the loner i am she cut my thoughts "john what's wrong" she asked

"nothing let's go" i answered
"No it's not nothing you've been acting so weird lately" she said with a worried face

"To be honest i 've been feeling so lonley me and don't talk that much cuz you are always with mackenzie
And my bestfriends always with their girls so i am officially a loner"  i poured all what's inside

She pulled me in a hug "i need to breath"  i said she pulled away "stop being rude and come with me it 'll be great" she said

I followed her to her room mackenzie
Was sitting on her bed she didn't say anything "hey" i said knowing she won't reply but she did "hi"

we watched some riverdale until it was 12 a.m.   "it's a school night I'll go to sleep" i said getting up to go to my room that's when i realized lauren is asleep

but mackenzie was not "k night  Johnnyboy"  she said "night mackenzie" i replied "stop just call me kenzie" she said "okay mackz" i said

"What's that" she questioned "your new nickname" i replied "oh i like it"
She said i smiled and got out of the room

And i went to sleep so fast that night i didn't think about anything
