"I can't." She stated, grasping the group's attention,

"What do you mean? Of course you can." Mike stated, as if she didn't have a choice. Harper didn't say a thing, instead she turned around, revealing the large dark patch of blood that had seeped through the grey t-shirt.

They knew Harper was right. They'd managed to get a glimpse of her back earlier, and to say the least, it wasn't pretty. When she turned back to the younger kids, they didn't look happy.

"Take Steve. His face might not look so good, but he'll come in handy once he comes back around." She told them. Mike and Lucas nodded, while Dustin only frowned at her,

"What are you going to do?" He asked, moving towards his sister. Harper sighed, and bring her hand to her head,

"Clean this son of a bitch up and get him home. Tell max's parents she's at a sleepover. Then I'm going to a hospital." She told him, but as soon as she finished, Dustin was shaking his head,

"No! You're not staying with him. Look at what he did to Steve!" He exclaimed,

"I'm only going to slow you down. Look, when he wakes up, I'll take him home and go straight to the hospital, I need stitches." She began, putting both her hands on his shoulders, "I can handle him, okay Dustin? He's just some stupid boy, huh?" She gave him a small smile, which he returned,

"Be careful, okay?" He asked, gently wrapping his arms around her,

"Me? You be careful! I'll come over tomorrow to pick you up, okay?" She asked, tightening her grip around the boy with curly hair,

"I'll be here." He replied softly. Harper let go of her brother, and walked over to Steve, who was still passed out. She fished into his pocket and pulled out his keys.

"Max, you take Steve's car, don't scratch it okay?" Max nodded, switching out Billy's keys for Steve's.

"If you guys don't come back I'm going to kick your asses."

They'd left no more than fifteen minutes ago and Harper had moved Billy from the floor, to the couch. She was sure her back had worsened.

Harper was cleaning the blood from Billy's nose when a groan escaped his lips. It took a moment, but his eyes blinked open. Harper pulled her hand away, moved back slightly.

Billy brought his hand to his head, surveying his surrounds until his eyes went wide and he remembered what happened. When his eyes landed on Harper, he didn't know whether to be angry, or grateful that she was the only one there.

"Where the hell if she?" He growled, causing Harper to sigh,

"I can't tell you." She stated, but Billy wasn't going to take that as an answer,

"You don't understand, Harper. She has to come home." He stated through gritted teeth,

"Or what?" She replied harshly,

"You'll beat the shit out of her?" Billy glared at Harper, but before he could reply, he watched her glare morph into an expression of pain, causing his eyes to soften,

"Did I hurt you?" He asked, remembering what he'd done to her earlier. Harper shook her head,

"No, it was something that happened earlier. After I drop you off at home, I'm walking to the hospital. Billy frowned, moving his body so he was facing her,

"Why? What happened?" Harper didn't reply, instead, she stood up and turned took her shirt off. Billy was confused at first, until he saw the bandage wrapped around her slender figure. Billy lifted his hands to the bandage, and grabbed the end. As his figures unclipped it, he stood, and began to unwrap it from her body. As the white fell from around her back, he could see that it was clearly soaked in blood.

"What the hell..." he mumbled. Just a moment later, the bandage was on the floor, and Harper was turning around. As soon as his eyes landed on her back, they went wide. It looked as though she'd been mauled by a bear. The back of her jeans were soaked in blood, both dry and wet, as was her back.

"What happened?" He asked softly,

"It doesn't matter. But I need stitches." She told him. Billy nodded, and let Harper turn back around to face him,

"Come on, if you come to mine, I'll stick your back up." He offered. Harper frowned,

"What, are you a doctor?" She questioned sarcastically, causing Billy to roll his eyes,

"No. But I've sticker myself up enough times to know how to stick those up." He told her. Harper sighed, but nodded.

"Let me go and get a clean shirt." Harper began walking to Jonathan's room, she knew he wouldn't mind. Harper could always buy him a new shirt. She grabbed the first one and then headed towards the bathroom and grabbed a few rolls of bandages before going back to Billy.

"You're going to have to wrap me up."
