Easy Turn

He's hitting me with an empty bottle of beer

Calling me hurtful names

"If you cry then I'll hit you twice more harder than this you slut"

Tears are welling up in my eyes yet I desperately hold them back

He continued to hit me for an eternity when he suddenly stops.

"Good girl. You listened to me. This is why I love you"

He kissed my forehead and knocked me down cold.

The flashbacks suddenly end when he suddenly grabbed my hand and plead

"Baby I'm sorry. I'll be a better man for you. I won't hit you anymore"
