Cry Me A River

Disappointment

I pushed everyone away. Including my family.

My mother yelled.

Couldn't take it with my behavior.

"All you care about is yourself. We all have our own problems too!"

She stared at me.

Face filled with disappointment.

My father couldn't speak.

My brother stared at me with a sad look.

My sister was crying.

If only they knew, how much I cried during the night.

How I got worried when my mother came home with such tiredness on her face.

How I tried to stay away from troubles.

All I want is not to be a burden to anyone by hiding myself in the shadows.

But I guess for them it isn't fair.

In the end, I cried myself to sleep.

Just like yesterday.
