(Y/N)'s POV

I waited outside of the National Recreational Trail for (C/N) to show up. They had invited me to this... "nice" hike. It looks like something that literally came out of Gravity Falls.

Someone came up to me, huffing and puffing. (C/N).

"What took you?"

"My mom told me to eat something."

"Hmm, saved some for me?"

"Maybe." He/She pulled out some McDonald's from their pitch-black backpack (that rhymed!).

"Hmm... Ooh! (F/F) [From McDonald's]!"

(C/N) chuckled.

"Ready to hike this ridiculously long trail?"

"Yeah!" You say, giving a small smile.

We both hiked the trail, occasionally climbing trees.

"(Y/N)?"

"Yeah?"

(C/N) looked away. "N-Never mind..."

I laughed. They were so cute when they do something like that.

"So cute..." I muttered under my breath.

"Huh?"

"Nothing."

-Time skip-

"I-I can't!"

"Just jump down!"

"No!"

"I'll catch you!"

"Better not screw this up..."

I jumped from the tree that I was too scared to jump down of.

(C/N) caught me perfectly by the waist, then realized where their hands were, and set me down and blushed.

"Realized where your hands were?"

"S-Shut up."

Once we were both done hiking the trail, at the gate (C/N) said, "(Y/N)?"

"Yeah?"

"I, um..."

"I'm waiting."

"I have a crush on you..."

I was stunned. "Really? You should have told me earlier!"

"I wanted to save it for a special occasion like this one."

They invited me for a hug.

I ran in (Y/N)'s arms, so happy I was crying.
