--CHAPTER--TWO--

I am so close, so close to having her in my arms, to her being mine and only mine.

I have watched her since the first day I saw her, which was four years ago, on her fourteenth birthday.

I remember it clearly, she was wearing a white sundress and some white sandals, her long black hair was in a braid, she was with her friend, who was clinging to another boy's arms, she didn't have a man at her side; she didn't look lonely though.

Her eyes were bright with excitement as she and the others walked to the movie theater, I followed her at a distance. I felt somehow connected to her.

I was caught up in my own thoughts that I almost walked right into a couple emerging from the theater.

"Sorry," I muttered. I rushed passed them to see the three of them buying tickets to the new release; her friend turned to her and handed her a small present. Her eyes lighted up when she saw it was a silver friendship bracelet, I saw a similar one on her friend.

"Thank you, Lish. I love it," she embraced her friend in a tight hug.

"The best for my bestie, Miri!"

"You wouldn't believe how long it took Alisha to find that, Miriska," their male companion said stealing back the Alisha girl.

Miriska. Miriska. A unique name, exactly like she was.

"I do, Cam. She's crazy, didn't you know?"

He laughed. "Yeah, but she's my crazy girl!"

"C'mon, you two idiots! Let's go before the movie starts!" the girl, Alisha pulled them into the movie theater.

I followed them, a couple walking in front of me. They stopped at the popcorn stand before going to the movie, I followed after grabbing a small popcorn combo.

I couldn't watch her much during the movie, it was dark and she was in one of the seats in the back I was in the same row.

The movie had passed quickly, me not having a clue what it was about. I followed her home, I know it was a bit creepy but I couldn't forget her.

From then I watched her, I knew that if I wanted her I needed to place myself in her life and this year, the year of her eighteenth birthday, I am going to do just that.

De'Shawn and I decided to tell my father the truth, not the whole truth of course only parts. As I expected my dad told De'Shawn to enroll in my school and keep an eye out for any possible creepers.

I expected De'Shawn to look upset since he was stuck with me, but strangely enough he looked pleased.

The following day he drove me to school, in one of the slightly less ostentatious car my dad bought me.
