Away

A worry tugs
At where my soul hides.
This heart I lug -
It's heavy but empty inside.

Perhaps it was something I did,
Perhaps it was something I said.
But all you want of my existence is to rid,
Along with our memories, they'll all fade

Away.

Away into the barren abyss
Of nothingness - it's pitch black.
There's nothing your heart will miss;
There's no reason to have me back.

But a fool I'm naught,
Aimlessly in the present hollow I roam,
Devoid of feelings, hope and thought,
Drenched in un-illuminated monochrome.

Through us, fate has sift,
Separating you and me for the better.
Slowly from you, I drift,
Further and further

Away.
