Although neither Lucius Malfoy nor Narcissa Malfoy favoured the idea of a mixed bloodline to say the least, the Greengrass family and the Parkinsons came to tell the family of the story of Hermione and Draco. Narcissa Malfoy, herself married to Lucius at only seventeen, did her best to accept the relationship. Her husdband, however, did not take the idea so well. He knew the reception he would receive (especially from certain sponsors) and did his very best to cut his son away from the girl.
Without avail.
Draco made himself sure that his father was, in the end, not worth it. He lost the title of 'daddy's boy' and himself became an excellent father, choosing his own friends and making his own choices as his father had always forbid.
Astoria Greengrass became the godmother to his only son, and despite all the past, was a perfect godmother. Hermione even introduced Astoria to Ron, and though they originall hit it off, they broke up after a few months.
Pansy and Blaise were married in secret soon after Hermione and Draco.
