Chapter 31

"For God's sake I told you it wasn't my fault" Thorn said in irritation as I rolled my eyes. 

Sure what you say, whatever.

"Come on Nat, I would never lie to you" He said slightly grabbing my chin for me to face him. His beautiful blue eyes met mine as he huffed.

If he thinks this gentle touch would make me forgive him, boy he's wrong. I mean, it's kind of hot, but it doesn't matter.

"Please, you need to believe me"

I groaned in anger running my hand through my brown hair "Thorn I saw you kissing her. What should I believe? YOUR LIPS WERE AGAINST HERS"

"And imagine that he has never kissed you" Sam blurted out as I faced him in anger. Yeah, your soft lips touched mine, but Thorn never kissed me and that's Sam's fault for ruining our dates.

"You aren't helping"

I knew Audrey was bad news. I didn't like her since I saw her at the plane and now I find Thorn and her kissing. Why was she even kissing him? I know Thorn may be cute, but they just met.  

"Okay I had enough" Audrey finally spoke "How many times do I have to tell you it was a damn accident"

"Yeah it was an accident, on purpose of course" 

Okay Sam needs to shut up or I swear I'll kick him so hard he won't be able to make children with his wife, whoever that poor creature will be.

"Maid, come outside I need to discuss something with you" Mr. MvGrumpy said sounding dead serious as his cold green eyes met mine. I got up and followed him outside the room.

We were standing in front of each other and I was looking at my feet not wanting to meet Sam's eyes. Suddenly Sam gently raised my chin for me to face him.

"Don't worry about them, I bet it was Audrey's fault. Indeed I'm quite happy about this I really don't want-...er" Mr. McGrumpy said rubbing his neck uncomfortably "I don't wanna see you sad so come on, we're leaving them alone"

He said what? How can he leave them alone, they may do something worse this time. Is he serious right now? Wait, Gaylord is always serious, but ridiculously ridiculous. Do they at least have condoms in there?!

He grabbed my by the wrist and we walked out of the hotel with me having no idea where we were going.

"Where the heck are you taking me? Can't you take Audrey" I said sniffing in disgust after saying her name. Sam didn't even face me as we continued to walk down the cold streets of Germany.

I gotta admit, it was a beautiful place, but it was really cold.

"Okay, it feels like we've been walking for years. Where are we going" I asked again, in irritation this time more than curiosity as Mr. McGrumpy didn't even respond. 

"I wish I knew" He finally spoke as I furrowed my eyebrows. If we get lost I swear I'm going to kill him.

We walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked. Yeah we walked a lot and we finally stopped on a place where we could rent bikes.

"Give me one" Sam said to the man who was there.

He got on the bike and I sat behind him as he started to cycle God knows where.

After thirty minutes we were on a park where were barely people. We sat on the grass and saw the sun slowly setting without saying any other word to each other.

"Why were you so upset about Thorn and Audrey kissing"

"I think I kind of like Thorn and I got jealous" I confessed turning in Sam's direction who was looking at the view. All I could see was his sharp jawline and I won't complain.

"How do you know if you like someone?"

I narrowed my eyes with Sam's question. Why would he even ask that?

"I don't know. I guess you can't get that person out of your mind and how much that person annoys or upsets you you can't seem to let go"

He smirked facing me as Mr. McGrumpy's piercing green eyes met mine "Is this how you feel about Thorn"

Wait a second, do I feel like this? Well of course I do. I mean I like him, right?

"Silence speaks itself"

"What? Of course I feel like that when I'm with Thorn"

Our eyes were locked on each other and it was getting darker. Ewww that's sounds dirty.

"Would you get jealous if I kissed someone else?"

"No of course I wouldn't" I said rolling my eyes and the I went dead serious "But you're not planning to are you?" 

Gaylord shook his head smiling. Is he ok? He's sober right? What if he's drunk? I mean, he's smiling, something must be wrong.

"What are you smiling at?"

"Nothing, I just kind of realized something"

I shrugged not saying anything. What did he realize? I'm kind of curious I won't lie.

"You're weird dude. One second you hate me and then you don't" I finally said as he got his eyes off me.

"I don't hate you and I don't really like you if that makes sense"

"Why I did nothing to you" 

He laughed as I blushed. Dang his laughter is hot and what I said is freaking weird.

"Well Gaylord McGrumpy did nothing to you, but you still hate him"

"I don't hate you, you're actually nice when you aren't a jerk. You know, people can change and I think you have changed a little" I said as Sam;s hand touched mine and his fingers crawled on mine. His soft and warm skin was against mine and I was feeling comfortable

"Yeah people can change, but I don't think I will"
