Helplessness, pure sorrow, is this how you want me to feel?
Does upsetting me make your life ideal?
Be considerate, put yourself in my shoes
How would you feel, what would you do?
Do you need to remind me of my stupidity, of the qualities I lack?
If so, think again. Words are things you can never take back.
By the time you turned around, what if it was too late?
What if they’d already put an end to their fate?
Took out that knife, put the razor to their skin
Would you ever live up to your unforgivable sin?
What if they’d took the poison? What if they’d drank bleach?
Think before abusing your right of speech.
Be aware of what you say and what it means.
Because its impact may be greater than it seems.
