This is definitely one of my favourite short stories ever (probably second, right after Notorious, also by hepburnettes). I loved the story - I stayed up all night just to finish it and I suffered for it the next day, but it was worth it. I love how the story is written and how it has a cliche undertone, but events in the story make it completely un-cliche. Eloise and Declan are so interesting and have their own mistakes and secrets, but they eventually...wait, read the story and you'll find out what happens. No spoilers here. :) Note: The story title has been changed to All Hands on Dec(lan).
